Who founded Kanance Trading?
Kanance Trading was founded in 2019 by Mr. Terefe T. Godi, also known as Mr. Kanance, a visionary entrepreneur from the Bench Sheko Zone of Southwest Ethiopia.
What does the name "Kanance" mean?
The name "Kanance" means "son of God" in the Bench language, symbolizing our commitment to uplifting communities and sustainable practices.
What products do you offer?
We specialize in premium Ethiopian products, including coffee, spices & herbs, grains (like sesame and teff), beans (like mungbean), honey, and seasonal fruits such as bananas and avocados.
How many farmers do you work with?
We proudly collaborate with over 4,000 smallholder farmers across Ethiopia, ensuring they receive fair prices for their products.
What makes your coffee unique?
Our coffee is sourced from Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, and is available in washed and unwashed varieties, graded from specialty to conventional and organic options. We also offer EUDR-compliant coffee.
Do you follow sustainable practices?
